Christina Fisanick Greer, Ph.D., is an Associate Profess of English and the author of more than 30 books. Here writing has also appeared in print and online publications–both scholarly and popular.
She has suffered multiple tragedies in her life, including an abusive childhood, bullying, sexual assault, the murder of her first child, the premature birth and death of her second child, and the loss of her six cats to a house fire just days before Christmas. Through it all, Christina has done her best to overcome the worst. She went back to high school after dropping out, then went on to college and earned her Ph.D.
Through therapy, writing, and other tools, Christina has managed to survive all that life has thrown at her, and she would love to work with you or your organization to help spread her message of hope and perseverance to people of all ages.
She has given more than 50 presentations to audience that include:
- the Girl Scouts
- high school students
- Alpha Delta Kappa, an international teachers sorority
- college students in a variety of settings
- professors and administrations
- women’s groups
